For all of you who don't know...college is wierd!
I haven't yet felt homesick, but then again, I haven't really done any real school work yet either! It is like some bizarre summer camp. I feel like very soon I am going to get on a big yellow school bus and go home to my family! But part of me knows that I'm not, so I have this tiny aweful feeling in the pit of my stomach, and it is telling me that I will feel very homesick as soon as actual classes start. I don't know if I am ready for that! I am sorry that I have been so lacking in my checking up and posting lately, but I have had so much to do lately that this is the first that I have been able to do anything fun online!
I hope that you can forgive me! I also hope that all of you, whoever you are at the moment, are doing fantastically!
I also want to share something that I wrote late one night when I couldn't fall asleep. It's not very good, or finished, but if you have anything to say, please do! I need all the help I can get!
Poets are the moon.
In that, they aren't like the sun.
They can't give sustain life,
they can't give off their own light.
But rather, they are the moon.
They aren't steady,
they change and shift,
they go through phases.
Even thought they give off
neither warmth
nor life.
They light people's way
without blinding them with their greatness.
And though they don't
give off their own light
or beauty,
it's their "job" to find the
beauty of others and
in everything else,
and reflect it back
for the world to see.
That's it...sorry if you expected more!

Hi Lizzie, I am so sorry I couldn't keep in touch for so long. We were having problems at work -- short of staff and I had to replace several team members who were out for summer vacations. Not only you but even my parents were mad at me, i would sometimes see them every 6 days :(
I am fine now, school has resumed and the number of hours that I work has dropped steeply, allowing me more time to create/make my own stuff etc.
How have you been, i read you're not yet homesick, dont worry, once school starts to get busy, you wont feel anything. You will meet people and life will go on from there.
I made a small video (4.46mins) featuring a cool soundtrack i found. Its a really nice video, I'm uploading it right now as I am typing this message. Check again in a couple of hours, the title should be "Innocent World". I would be glad if you could have a look and tell me if you like it and if the soundtrack I chose fits in (looks like lol)
I will update my blog more frequently and sorry again to have lost contact. Take care

Hi Lizzie, thank you for your comments and suggestions. I'm glad you liked it :D True I wanted to do exactly as you suggested but unfortunately, the program I usually use to edit videos crashed on me a few days back :(
Haven't figured out how to fix that problem yet. So thats when I used windows movie maker and tried to make something decent out of it.. hahaha
I will fix that problem and then I will be able to synchronise the soundtrack properly. Another thing that may surprise you, 70% of those photos are frommy balcony minigarden... haha! And the remaining 30% are simply some random pictures i took in the park next to my appartment. :)

I know, this summer we decided to grow some peppers, tomatoes, mint, and ginger. I know that sounds weird but we needed something to put out in our balcony.
besidesprograms crashing I am doing ok... already stressed with school :( Oh i forgot, what subject are you studying? I am in computer science 2nd year.

Sorry for not keepiing in touch... I was busy with my midterms and assignemnts... (ohhh,... last week i handed in the most paingul assignment i ever had... over 67 hours of work! :( )
So you're taking french! Thats so cool? Est ce que tu peut parler le Francais couramment?
Guess what? I am making my demoreel, it will be a dvd full of special effects and the best of my creations (some of them will be new to you :) ) and I will send you a download link :)
And yes, you will get used to handing assignments... hahaha
I remember the first year, I went up to the prof and told him "Its too much work!"
He had a smile on his face and he told me: "Well, there's more to come in the following years" And I was like: "ohhh... "

Thank you for your comments :) And I'm sorry it took so long to write this comment but please send me the picture of the Makhtesh canyon! Believe it or not, now I actually refer to existing places/photographs or even in games to draw some inspirations for my wallpapers. I find that by observing real/imaginary scenes you get a kickstart as to what you want to make.

Life is ok for me, I've been very busy with schoolwork etc. My classes are ok, some boring and some interesting haha Sometimes I feel like I need to take some litterature/history classes too, just to relax and learn something different besides all the maths i'm learning right now :(
Looking forward to the dune photo. I cant wait to try something out of it!
